Shopping My Closet

Sorry for the bad hair day! :D
Yesterday we were celebrating a birthday, so I figured dressing up would be nice (although it feels, in comparison to what I wear on a normal day, like being dressed casually, haha!)

Well, this dress was my first choice. I can't believe that I was unaware I even had this one... It's from H&M and when I held it in my hands again, I could remember why I bought it!

It's so classically chic, with the sweet bow print and ruffled v-neck. Definitely something I could imagine Blair Waldorf wearing!

I just put on a black cardigan and tights and I was done! Easy!

Gotta sleep a bit now ;D

P.S.: The ballet training is paying off! I have a better posture now.. and my legs are a bit more toned :) :)

Back In Black

Literally!
My parents + brother visited me this weekend and by the time we decided to go to an Italian restaurant, which was amazing btw, I knew I had to pull this velvet H&M dress out of my closet! :) The fabric is so nice and cozy, I could sleep in this one!
(And there's no denying any longer: I do have some weird hourglass/pear-shape thing going on... Sigh!)

It was a blast, really! Can't believe my last visit was 3 years ago!

It still felt familiar somehow. And people mistook me for a Swede quite a lot, which seems really flattering!

The weather was incredible, I mostly saw well-dressed guys (or.. maybe I've been paying more attention to the guys... :D) and we even went to Historiska museet and the Nationalmuseum!

So it hasn't only been three days of shopping. To be honest, I thought I'd buy more.

But there's plenty of time to catch up on that when I'm with "my" family!

Life's good

Have you ever felt like your life is so good that you're afraid to really enjoy it and revel in your success? If yes- welcome to my world.
I can't believe that I graduated from school and that I'm really about to go to Sweden for a year...
Sometimes dreams do come true.

On Saturday, we got our diplomas. Reason enough to pull out the most classy-yet-outrageous dress I own:

Loving the exaggerated shoulders and the neckline! Got it at an outlet-store, I think it's Goddess London (figures, doesn't it?) And yes, I couldn't leave my feathered clutch and blue nailpolish at home. While you're at it: Check out http://fashionstyleadvice.com , dear Milana also posted something about bright nail polishes! Certainly a trend one shouldn't miss this summer.

On Sunday, when the entire family and lots of families gathered together to celebrate me and my graduation & coming stay in Sweden, I put on a yellow dress and nude suede sandals, quite simple, but I think it works (and the colour complements my pale skin.. instead of making me look sick!)

I also -finally- got my new Ralph Lauren glasses. They are so perfect, can't wait to post a picture later. You' ll also get to know some new jewelry I bought on Monday... And of course my prom dress! Saturday, July 3rd!

A day at the fleamarket

After sleeping until 11am (believe me, getting up at 5.30am is so draining.. I still have sleep to catch up on), I went to a fleamarket nearby.

I wore a dress, bag, sandals, belt and straw fedora (everything H&M), sunglasses (?) and the skirt I thrifted underneath the dress.
Although I was actually looking for jewelry, I found this cute little suitcase. It was so ridiculously cheap, there wasn't a reason why I shouldn't buy it.
I love the vintage-feel it has! Maybe I'll take this one as my hand luggage for my flight to Copenhagen!

Yesterday: SATC2

SATC2! Finally! I have to say that I liked it a lot, although the scene where the women have haute couture under their burkas.. Um, yeah, sure.
But it's definitely a must-see!

This is what I wore: A simple black cardigan, white tee, jeans and black necklace (everything H&M), my beloved feathered clutch (ASOS), a pink ring (?) and black Zara sandals.
Comfy yet trendy!

But before we went to the cinema, my BFF and I went shopping, of course! Also got my hair cut (it's so short!!) and bought this lovely new dress in pale yellow:

Rawr!

It's the second day of my denim shirt-experience and I have to say that, although I really like this item, it's harder to put outfits together than I thought it would be.
That's mostly because I still shy away from wearing double-denim... It reminds me of my days back at elementary school, where you would just take something out of the closet, not giving a thought to whether it matches or not.
I highly doubt I'll get over that trauma in this week, but we'll see!

Today I paired the item of the week with my favourite trenchcoat, leopard scarf, ballet flats, butterfly ring, tights and dress- everything is H&M! The cute bag is vintage, I got it at a little store here!
I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with the result- it looks chic and classy with an edge!

I think this is what you'd call a bad-hair-day!

The best picture is blurry, of course! I really need to buy a new camera!

After proving that a denim shirt and classic clothes do match, I think I'll wear it with some sequins soon!

The Girl in the Red Coat

Just a quick post before I later head off to a get-together with some of my classmates.

I only wanted to show you my favourite coat this spring:

Aren't the sleeves and the collar super-cute? The coat matches my lipstick perfectly :)

I think it's from New York Laundry, I got it at an outlet-store. The oversized cardigan is C&A, the dress H&M. No idea where I got the tights and the shoes, hah!

Still didn't have the time to take pictures of my new H&M clothes... Maybe tomorrow? :)

Today's outfit //recently in the changing cubicle...

Here's what I wore today: I love the combination of the ruffles and the stripes. Everything's from H&M, except for the belt. I got it at an outlet store. And the watch is DKNY.


I tried this dress on today, I'm not sure about it, though. Well, the chains are awesome.
Maybe I'll buy this one later.


And I can proudly present my new Zara sandals. Gorgeous! And a real catch, only 39€.

I also got a yellow polo-shirt, a sleeveless dress in pale purple and one in royalblue at H&M today. I think I'll post pictures later.

Feeling blue

Well, at least my legs are!

Good ol' times

To get everyone in the right mood, here are two outfits from autumn 2009:

Obviously, I was a huge fan of my Zara boots back then, hah! Still love them, not appropriate for the kind of weather we're having at the moment, though.

Berry colours are still a favourite, can't get enough of them!
