Just a top with slightly puffed shoulders, a light beige skirt with cat-print and my beloved brogues. These have to be my favourite shoes! They are quite painful after a while, but this doesn't keep me from wearing them ;)

Shopping My Closet

Sorry for the bad hair day! :D
Yesterday we were celebrating a birthday, so I figured dressing up would be nice (although it feels, in comparison to what I wear on a normal day, like being dressed casually, haha!)

Well, this dress was my first choice. I can't believe that I was unaware I even had this one... It's from H&M and when I held it in my hands again, I could remember why I bought it!

It's so classically chic, with the sweet bow print and ruffled v-neck. Definitely something I could imagine Blair Waldorf wearing!

I just put on a black cardigan and tights and I was done! Easy!

Gotta sleep a bit now ;D

P.S.: The ballet training is paying off! I have a better posture now.. and my legs are a bit more toned :) :)

Back In Black

Literally!
My parents + brother visited me this weekend and by the time we decided to go to an Italian restaurant, which was amazing btw, I knew I had to pull this velvet H&M dress out of my closet! :) The fabric is so nice and cozy, I could sleep in this one!
(And there's no denying any longer: I do have some weird hourglass/pear-shape thing going on... Sigh!)

Cape-itol State of Mind

May I introduce you to my new darling: my ASOS Military Hooded Cape! Love it!

Seems that I'm kind of a skirt-girl lately, but they go so well with the cape and tights and ballet flats.. Sigh!

Also fell in love with the colour green, again! Just take a look at my nail polish, my ring and my earrings, haha!

So glad it's Friday! Finally sleeping late and doing whatever I want tomorrow! :)

Black & White

Didn't do much today, just headed to my Swedish class and had a vanilla Frapino at the Espresso House! Love!

Right now is the perfect weather to just go outside with a cardigan and some dress or skirt with tights. Fall is my favourite season, can't wait for all the leaves to turn orange, red and brown!

Shopping for GaGa

Err, sort of! With the moment I ordered a ticket for Lady Gaga's concert in Malmö, I couldn't help it but think of what to wear. So I dedicated this trip to Helsingborg to looking for appropriate attire!

Okay, this one's not really for the concert, but I was in need of a scarf! And this was one was on sale, -70%, so I thought this was my opportunity. It looks super cute, too!

And here we go with my first concert possibility: a white blazer by Lindex, was 50% off.

Loving the cut.. and the slightly exaggerated shoulders.

Could totally imagine wearing this one with a nice sleek black dress, tights and high heels!

Life's good

Have you ever felt like your life is so good that you're afraid to really enjoy it and revel in your success? If yes- welcome to my world.
I can't believe that I graduated from school and that I'm really about to go to Sweden for a year...
Sometimes dreams do come true.

On Saturday, we got our diplomas. Reason enough to pull out the most classy-yet-outrageous dress I own:

Loving the exaggerated shoulders and the neckline! Got it at an outlet-store, I think it's Goddess London (figures, doesn't it?) And yes, I couldn't leave my feathered clutch and blue nailpolish at home. While you're at it: Check out http://fashionstyleadvice.com , dear Milana also posted something about bright nail polishes! Certainly a trend one shouldn't miss this summer.

On Sunday, when the entire family and lots of families gathered together to celebrate me and my graduation & coming stay in Sweden, I put on a yellow dress and nude suede sandals, quite simple, but I think it works (and the colour complements my pale skin.. instead of making me look sick!)

I also -finally- got my new Ralph Lauren glasses. They are so perfect, can't wait to post a picture later. You' ll also get to know some new jewelry I bought on Monday... And of course my prom dress! Saturday, July 3rd!

Plaid, plaid, plaid!

After a working, I went to a city nearby to shop with a friend.
It was neither hot nor cool outside, so I figured a plaid shirt and my favourite straw fedora would do the job! And my Jimmy Choo for H&M-sandals were also mandatory!

Yes, you can really buy Starbucks mocha latte chocolate in the supermarket. Finally! Since there aren't many branches here, this is a welcome change. Caffeine shock, here I come!

Found a plaid shirt and a knit cardigan at H&M's sale today, so happy! Well, it wasn't on my shopping list, but I figured there was enough space in my closet left ;)

And I'll finally get new glasses... Ralph Lauren, I honestly love you. :D

Rainy Saturday

Although I already went shopping yesterday, I had to go again today!
Nothing's as good as starting the day with coffee and waffles and lots of stores to browse through!
Unfortunately, my friend and I got caught off guard when it suddenly started raining cats and dogs! I pitied my beautiful sandals... Poor leather soles!

I was eyeing a pair of dark red patent sandals, but somehow I couldn't really picture them in my closet.. Weird! (And shocking...)

But I got a dress, a tanktop and a new camera! Finally!

Now I'm off to paint my room... Ugh.. No motivation left for that!

Esprit!

I wanted to provide you with pictures of my Esprit fabric store finds! I leave out the pair of sports pants, but I think you'll understand that, haha.

This blazer ought to cost 70€ before. I got it for 10.
I think it's very Blair and I love the colour and the emblem!

I immediately fell in love with this bag: classic, black, streamlined. 19€, do I need to say more??
I can't wait to fly to my favourite country in August! My Kingdom For A Dress goes Sverige!

Yesterday: SATC2

SATC2! Finally! I have to say that I liked it a lot, although the scene where the women have haute couture under their burkas.. Um, yeah, sure.
But it's definitely a must-see!

This is what I wore: A simple black cardigan, white tee, jeans and black necklace (everything H&M), my beloved feathered clutch (ASOS), a pink ring (?) and black Zara sandals.
Comfy yet trendy!

But before we went to the cinema, my BFF and I went shopping, of course! Also got my hair cut (it's so short!!) and bought this lovely new dress in pale yellow:

Fun in the sun

As you can probably tell, I neither bothered putting on make up nor real clothes :D
I'm so glad that I could finally wear the floppy hat I bought last summer, I haven't worn it before!

Rawr!

It's the second day of my denim shirt-experience and I have to say that, although I really like this item, it's harder to put outfits together than I thought it would be.
That's mostly because I still shy away from wearing double-denim... It reminds me of my days back at elementary school, where you would just take something out of the closet, not giving a thought to whether it matches or not.
I highly doubt I'll get over that trauma in this week, but we'll see!

Today I paired the item of the week with my favourite trenchcoat, leopard scarf, ballet flats, butterfly ring, tights and dress- everything is H&M! The cute bag is vintage, I got it at a little store here!
I have to say that I'm quite satisfied with the result- it looks chic and classy with an edge!

I think this is what you'd call a bad-hair-day!

The best picture is blurry, of course! I really need to buy a new camera!

After proving that a denim shirt and classic clothes do match, I think I'll wear it with some sequins soon!

Good ol' times

To get everyone in the right mood, here are two outfits from autumn 2009:

Obviously, I was a huge fan of my Zara boots back then, hah! Still love them, not appropriate for the kind of weather we're having at the moment, though.

Berry colours are still a favourite, can't get enough of them!
